Dana M. Janbek is focusing her doctoral degree on international and development communication with emphasis on the Middle East region. She has done research and presented papers in regional, national, and international conferences on terrorism, technology, and global media. Prior to joining the University of Miami’s School of Communication, she worked at the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Washington, DC for three years. During her MA and BS, she worked with the immigrant community in Louisville, KY. Dana is originally from Jordan and is fluent in Arabic. Her favorite hobby is traveling and exploring different cultures and hopes to visit all the countries of the world.
