My name is Samia Badih and I’m from Lebanon. I come from a part of the world that has been for decades and sadly still is war-torn. Growing up as a child, I used to sit with my parents and watch the nightly news. And just when I became old enough to make sense of what I was watching, I knew I wanted to become a news reporter. In the summer of 2006, I was in Lebanon and experienced for the first time what it means to be at war. I felt an urge to tell the stories of the people. That’s when I realized more than ever that my dream is to become a news correspondent. Besides pursuing my dream, I love meeting new people. I’m fascinated by other cultures and languages. I love music, dance and people who make me laugh!

Hey Samia!
Thank you for the message! I also cannot wait till we’re all in Salzburg! I just got back from the pharmacy where I bought a ton of essential stuff for the trip, and it only makes me more excited!
I’m sure we’re going to have a great time. Just like you, I’ve also been reading a lot of the bios, and everyone seems so intelligent, I’m a bit intimidated! I know we’ll rub off on each other and I hope many of us can become friends.
I’ll see you soon!
Good luck on your flight!
Belen.
Hi Samia,

See you soon!!!
