My name is Lorena Figueroa. I´m Mexican and I have already finished a professional career in Communication Science. My favorite topic of my field of study is communication theories, especially communicology.
I am looking forward to assist to the Salzburg Seminar because I think it will be a great opportunity to know about media from an international point of view considering the opinions of people who has study communications in different countries and have different personal experiences.
I would like to study a master in Culture, Language and Globalization at the University of Limerick in Ireland as I am very interested in topics that have to do with this three issues that are becoming more important every day in our world.
On the other hand I´m currently studying English literature so I tend to see media under the prescriptions of Literature; hopefully this will enrich my experience in this Seminar.
When this Salzburg experience is finished, I will go back to Mexico and look for a job there and I will continue my German language studies there
